Dan
Oberschlake

Dan Oberschlake DVM, a native of Ohio, is a 1976 graduate of the Ohio State University School of Veterinary medicine.  After graduation he did an internship on staff at the University of Minnesota Veterinary School.

Dr. Oberschlake came to Heritage Animal Hospital in 1978.  He is certified by the American Embryo Transfer Society and by International Canine Genetics in Reproduction.  In addition to reproduction he has special interests in dermatology and soft tissue surgery.  He also fields most of the pygmy goat, pot belly pig, and reptile questions at Heritage.  He has been actively involved in 4-H and Greenville Youth Sports.

Dr. Dan and his wife Ann, an elementary art teacher, have four children.  For relaxation he is a member of Appleton Boy Choir's Master Singers and enjoys watching his children participate in athletic and musical activities.

Vicki
Klemp

Dr. Vicki Klemp is a 1996 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine and has been employed at Heritage Animal hospital, Ltd. since 1999. She developed her love for animals at a very young age while growing up on a dairy farm near Clintonville, Wisconsin.

Dr. Klemp enjoys all of the variety and challenges of small animal medicine and surgery. She and her husband, Dan, have a daughter. Her hobbies include biking, playing piano, and walking her dog Claire.

James
Pape

James Pape D.V.M., is a 1998 graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Dr. Pape joined Heritage Animal Hospital in May of this year after practicing at a small animal clinic in Madison for the past two years. In addition to a strong interest in the areas of surgery and dentistry, he enjoys the challenges of working with diabetic animals. He believes strongly in the human animal bond, and views animals as not being just pets but as an important part of the family.

Outside practice he enjoys spending time in the outdoors doing a variety of things such as running, mountain biking and hunting. Dr. Pape and his wife Lara have 2 cats Favre and Nala. His wife is a fourth year Doctor of Pharmacy student at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
